Valhalla Experimental Station, commonly know simply as The Macadamia Farm, is located on the road from Antigua Guatemala to San Miguel Dueñas, at the foot of the Agua volcano. |
| The Valhalla Experimental Station was founded in 1985 by Lawrence and Emilia Gottschamer, who still run the farm today and are very passionate about environmental protection and sustainable agriculture. |

The Macadamia tree is native only to the subtropical rainforest on the west coast of Queensland, Australia. It came to Guatemala via Hawaii and California. |
| Macadamia nuts are harvested year round, with a peak from September to February. The nuts have a delicious flavor and a smooth but crunchy texture. |

Most of the machines used to process the Macadamia nuts after they are harvested where developed and built right on the farm. While they may look rather basic, they have been continuously improved for two decades and are highly efficient. |
| As part of every tour of Valhalla Experimental Station you can sample the Macadamia nut and try out cosmetics made of it. All products are available for sale in the farm's shop. |
