Adventure Tours in Guatemala:
Deep Sea Fishing on the Pacific Ocean
Deep sea fishing on the Pacific Ocean is a great adventure you won't forget anytime soon!
Guatemala's Pacific coast consistently produces huge quantities of Sailfish, most of which are over 100 pounds. Other fish we regularly catch are Dorado, also known as Mahi Mahi or Dolphin Fish; Gallo fish, which are a coastal sports fish unique to the tropical Pacific coast; Bonito and the occasional Yellow Fin Tuna.
Besides fishing you will also have a good chance to see other wildlife such as turtles, dolphins, birds and sometimes whales.
Our fishing trips are environmentally friendly! Guatemala is one of the only countries that prohibit taking sailfish and require the use of circle hooks for sports fishing.
Our boat is a 30 foot catamaran, which is more stable than the traditional "V" hull boats.
The boat is equipped with a VHF, life jackets, GPS and radar. The fishing equipment is new and top of the line Shimano equipment, specifically 2x20tld, 2x30tld, 1x50tld, 4x6500 spinners.
Great Adventure for the Entire Family
Deep sea fishing is a great adventure for all age groups from children to senior citizens. Going sports fishing with your family will be one of the most exciting experiences you will have with the kids. They will remember the time they spent fishing on the Pacific Ocean with you for many years to come.
